Backing Up Your Computer Files

What if your computer files, which include your years of genealogy research, were destroyed by fire, flood, or a natural disaster such as Hurricane Katrina? What if your computer were stolen along with the external hard drive or other media containing a backup of your computer files? What would any of these disasters do to your ability to use the tons of data, photos, and other media you have built over the years?

Elyse of Elyse’s Genealogy Blog has done an informative video on computer backup methods. In her video, she mentions online backup services such as Mozy and Carbonite.

I have also included in this posting a video on Carbonite vs Mozy: Which Online Backup Is Best?
